Improve your AdWords advertising campaign II: Keywords
Following the Ad Groups, we find the keywords of a Google Adwords campaign, between whose results of search will appear our announcements. Three questions to bearing in mind: We will explain it in a very simple example to illustrate the following points: An advertising campaign for a car & bikes garage in Valencia.
1. Fleeing generic keywords for the above example a wrong keyword could be “garage” or “Valencia”.
2. Keywords should be formed by at least two words and maximum of three, for example: “Car garage Valencia” or “Valencia Itv bikes.”
3. Set the negative words (also in plural), which will be the terms on which we do not want our ads appear, when included in google search. For example: “bungling”, “free” or ”free”.
Other interesting parameters
For results based campaigns and established search for local businesses, exclude only the physical location is as important as setting the geolocation of the campaign.
If our campaign can not provide reliable conversions because the website for receiving user has not establishedan effective conversion page, we have to set the ad extensions.
